Well, it’s been a long time coming. What started out as a collection of 15 short stories that I’ve written over the last 3 years has been condensed down into 9 stories. These 9 stories and I have gone through a lot together. From our financially tight semesters at the University of Louisville campus to our current failing-at-Grindr-dating days in our Downtown apartment, these are the stories that I stuck with and refused to give up on.
The final day that Amazon KDP allows me to make any changes to the ebook is today. I’ve been typo hunting for weeks. Thank you to everyone who has already pre-ordered. It’s helped keep me confident and focused on getting it ready. After today, I’ll be looking seriously into what my next book will be. I try not to be too declarative of my plans, but a book a year seems doable, whether it be another fiction collection, a novella, or maybe even a novel.
After this book comes out, I’ll have to figure out a new way procrastinate on reading The Goldfinch. I imagine marketing a book is as good an excuse as any. Please read and share and spread the word if you like the book.
